Located in Jubail Industrial City, the Fire Science Academy is a 30,000-square-meter, state-of-the-art facility designed to maximize learning experiences from incipient to highly advanced levels of firefighting, HAZMAT, rescue, EMS, emergency services command, and contractor and operator safety training.

 

The Jubail Academy campus includes seven classrooms, a cafeteria, mosque, medical center, PPE store, and changing facilities, providing a comfortable, turnkey learning and training environment. Practical application training zones include indoor industrial buildings, outdoor petrochemical structures, an SCBA maze, helipad, airplane, HAZMAT simulation area, and an elevated, ground-level, and subterranean rescue complex. These facilities incorporate training effects including live fire, smoke, sound, and simulated releases and spills to challenge participants at all levels of expertise.

 

Additionally, command and leadership courses utilize a three-dimensional, virtual reality-based emergency and disaster management training simulator, providing a realistic environment for training first responders, on-scene commanders, and incident command teams.
