This course is a 40-hour training program for emergency response personnel or company personnel that may be required to assume the role of Safety Officer operating within an Incident Command System during an emergency incident. The course curriculum is in accordance with the NFPA 1521 (2015 Edition), Incident Safety Officer (Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications) and focuses on safety knowledge and skills employed during an emergency situation. This course is Pro Board accredited, providing internationally recognized certification for Emergency Response Professionals. Delegates must undergo an examination and skills evaluation, which if completed successfully will result in Pro Board Certification.
