This 40-hour IMS/ICS course is designed to provide the trainees with the advanced incident management knowledge and practical skills required to manage complex and large-scale incidents. Participants will develop the ability to coordinate operations across broader geographic areas, including the command and integration of multiple responding agencies. Emphasis is placed on advanced decision-making, interagency coordination, and the effective application of ICS principles in dynamic and demanding environments.

 

This course utilizes the Advanced Disaster Management System (ADMS), a highly interactive 3D virtual reality command training platform. Participants will further enhance their interpersonal, visualization, and analytical skills through immersive learning experiences. Through the ADMS command training suite, delegates will be assigned to Command Staff and General Staff roles in accordance with the ICS structure during complex virtual incidents. Interactive scenarios include fires, hazardous materials incidents, natural disasters, potential terrorist events, and other complex situations across a wide range of customizable environments, including urban, industrial, marine, rail, road, and airport settings.

 

This course is intended for participants who have completed basic-level IMS/ICS training and are seeking to advance their capability in managing complex, multi-agency incidents within an ICS framework aligned with internationally recognized best practices. Successful completion of this course will result in FSA certification.
