This 40-hour training program is for emergency response personnel or company personnel who may be required to assume the role of Incident Management Safety Officer operating within an Incident Command System. The course curriculum is in accordance with the NFPA 1026 (2024 Edition), Safety Officer (Standard for Incident Management Personnel Professional Qualifications) and focuses on safety knowledge and skills employed during an emergency. This course is Pro Board accredited, providing internationally recognized certification for Emergency Response Professionals. Delegates must undergo an examination and skills evaluation, which, if completed successfully, will result in Pro Board Certification.
