This 40-hour training program is for emergency response personnel or company personnel who may be required to assume the role of Safety Officer operating within an Incident Command System during an emergency incident. The course curriculum is in accordance with the NFPA 1550 (2024 Edition), Incident Safety Officer (Standard for Emergency Responder Health and Safety) and focuses on safety knowledge and skills employed during an emergency situation. This course is Pro Board accredited, providing internationally recognized certification for Emergency Response Professionals. Delegates must undergo an examination and skills evaluation, which, if completed successfully, will result in Pro Board Certification.
