This 80-hour training program is for persons seeking to become certified Driver/Pump Operators within an emergency response organization. The course curriculum is in accordance with the NFPA 1010 (2024 Edition), Driver/Operator of Fire Apparatus Equipped with a Fire Pump (Standard on Professional Qualifications for Firefighters) and focuses on the knowledge and skills for driving and operating an emergency pumper vehicle (Chapter 11 of the NFPA 1010 standard) as well as pump operation (Chapter 12 of the NFPA 1010 standard). This course is Pro Board and IFSAC dual-accredited, providing internationally recognized certification for Emergency Response Professionals. Delegates must undergo an examination and skills evaluation, which, if completed successfully, will result in Pro Board and IFSAC Certification.
