This 40-hour training program is for emergency response personnel or company personnel who have attained their NFPA 470 HAZMAT Operations qualification and are pursuing further mission-specific competencies. The course curriculum is in accordance with the NFPA 470 (2022 Edition), Hazardous Materials First Responder at the Operations Level with Personal Protective Equipment and Product Control Mission Specific Competencies (Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Standard for Responders). This course results in certification of two HAZMAT Operations Mission Specific Levels: Personal Protective Equipment Mission Specific Competency and Product Control Mission Specific Competency. This course is Pro Board and IFSAC dual-accredited, providing internationally recognized certification for Emergency Response Professionals, Industrial Fire Brigade Members, or company personnel. Delegates must undergo an examination and skills evaluation, which, if completed successfully, will result in Pro Board and IFSAC Certification.
